Job Offer from July 18, 2016 The Perceiving Systems department at the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems in Tübingen is looking for several student assistants (f/m) (studentische / wissenschaftliche Hilfskräfte) to support our research on autonomous systems by labeling objects with bounding boxes in 3D point clouds. For this purpose, we have developed an online 3D annotation tool which can be launched from any web browser. The task of the student assistant is to navigate through 3D point clouds, identify 3D objects and annotate them with 3D bounding boxes as well as a semantic class label (e.g., “car”, “building”, “road”). Besides, we will regularly ask for feedback to improve the 3D annotation tool.
